I took a lot of photos in New York City over the weekend, most of them with my phone. This is one of very few with my Canon. Not sure what was going on, maybe a memory card failure.

This one pretty much sums up the entire trip, it all happened very quickly and much of it is just a blur. I love New York.

I love catching glimpses of Sacré Coeur from the side streets in Montmartre. This cathedral is in one of the highest spots in Paris, so you can see it from just about anywhere in the city. Built of limestone it is like a white beacon on a hill.

An Empire for Everyone

I shot this photo out of a car window with my first digital camera the week I got it. This has always been one of my favorite shots but I’ve never had to guts to edit it and be happy with the result. Seems like I give it a shot every year.

Problem with this is it’s too busy, so much so that you might not notice the guys eating lunch on the roof of a diner. I can’t really crop it because I don’t want to lose the word “Eat” in the upper left corner, or the word “Diner” to lower right.

So here it is, pretty much as is, a wild shot out of a car window while cruising the streets of New York City.
