  1. The background really works for me in this shot, Kit. Not sure what it is exactly, whether it is the contrast in colors or the lack of focus but I think it really makes the shot interesting.

  2. Could be the color palate. I tried sepia and antique filters, changing it to black and white, but it didn’t work at all.
